EFR Sharing
What is it?
EFR sharing allows for Farmobile DataEngine℠ platform users to give read-only access to their EFRs across users. By sharing a certified EFR, a grower can now display ag retail generated EFRs alongside grower generated data
Who can do it?
In order to share, trusted advisor agreement must be in place between the sharer and sharee. For example, if a retailer would like to share to a grower, the retailer has to be a trusted advisor of the grower. For a grower to share to a retailer, the grower must be a trusted advisor of the retailer. A more realistic scenario there is allowing two growers to become trusted advisors of each other so they can share data if they farm some ground together.
What abilities exist with shared EFRs?
Read-only access means that the sharee can only see the aggregate level EFR information alongside a heatmap for the shared activity. Tools such as viewing machine metrics, exporting data, un-certifying the EFR, etc are all disabled. It’s important to note, that if a sharer un-certifies their EFR, this will remove the EFR from any shared accounts. This is done as a fail-safe that prevents sharing incorrectly certified data.
**In order to share an EFR, both Farmobile DataEngine accounts must contain the same boundary to tie the shared EFR to. At this time, users are only given the option to share an EFR if a >95% boundary match exists
